SUNDAY WORSHIP
Our congregation worships together in an historic building on Sunday mornings at 10:30am. We believe that the Bible, both Old Testament and New Testament are God’s faithful instruction in all matters of Faith and Life
The sermon is central to our service, but it also includes music, scripture, prayer and offerings. We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of the month, all who are followers of Christ are invited to join us. A blend of praise songs and traditional hymns are carefully chosen to enable and encourage worship. When possible, our beautiful 1902 tracker organ provides accompaniment. People of all ages are encouraged to participate in worship by greeting, ushering, sharing and reading scripture.
Our service runs around an hour in length and is followed by coffee hour in our fellowship hall. We hope that every visitor to Sharon Congregational Church would sense that we are devoted and loving followers of Jesus, committed to carrying the good news of His redemption outside of the walls of our building, to our community and our world.
If you are interested in childcare during the service, please let one of our greeters know.
