Three Gifts Project
SCC works with Sharon Social Services to “adopt” local children and provide them with gifts at Christmas. Local families in need request THREE GIFTS for each of their children—we cheerfully purchase and lovingly wrap and deliver the requested gifts.
Bringing God’s Light to a Darkened World
The mission board seeks to listen to the needs in our own community and the needs of people in our complex world. By practicing sound stewardship over our resources we work to be a light in the world and share God’s love for humanity. This is aligned with the broader mission of our church to be “a fellowship of believers called to live in the light of Jesus Christ and to bring his light to a darkened world.”

Blanket Sunday– Purchase of blankets distributed to people involved in natural disasters

FISH (Friends in Service to Humanity) services for the homeless and hungry in NWCT), 332 S. Main Street, Torrington, CT

For many years our church has provided gifts and birthday cake for Geer Nursing’s June birthday party.
